Hello! My name is Jennifer McGraner and I am the K-4 English Language Learner specialist for Fairfield and Heritage Elementary schools. This is my first year teaching with Pickerington Local Schools and my 7th year teaching English Language Learners. I love teaching English to students who speak a language other than English and often tell my students they are so lucky to know more than one language! I enjoy learning bits and pieces of the languages our ELL students represent.
I graduated from Ohio University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I obtained the K-12 Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Endorsement from Capital University. Over the summer, I finished courses for the K-12 Reading Endorsement from Muskingum University.
My hometown is Zanesville, Ohio, and I currently live in Pataskala with my husband Rob. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy traveling, gardening, spending time with my family, reading, and riding roller coasters. I am looking forward to a fabulous year of learning!
